Flower Power

Flower Power has long been a summer style go-to.  We love this outfit combination from a lovely customer holidaying in Riga.  The monochrome stripes & 1834 Cream are softened by the pastel floral pattern.  On trend for Summer '18, this dress reminds us of the opulent and exotic fabrics designed by the great British House of Hackney brand.  And what better backdrop, beautiful Riga in full bloom!

The ROYAL Standard

With plaid featuring heavily in Vivienne Westwood and Balenciaga’s SS 2018 campaign, the 1834 Royal Stewart is on trend for the season.   With the world (including the fashion world!) going crazy for the upcoming Royal Wedding, add this very British touch to your summer style.

Round this Best of Brit look off with a summer tweed jacket, made iconic by Chanel & the forever stylish Jackie Kennedy.  You can always rely on Zara to stock their more affordable take on the pastel tweed.

Into Spring

The 1834 Glen Keith is a classic wardrobe addition to take you through the seasons. With the Beltbag quickly becoming THE Spring '18 accessory, make the most of this 1834 feature. After all, the sporran must surely be the ORIGINAL beltbag, right? Team with jeans and a cotton sweater for those mild Spring days that will be upon us soon...hopefully! Pick up a pair of vintage Ray Bans from the UKs many wonderful vintage shops to complete the look.  Our favourites in London are Goldsmith Vintage on Portobello Road and Soho's Beyond Retro.
